Yee on RDF

 •  Categories: Knowledge organization and representation

Raymond Yee has an interesting and frank discussion of his attempts to grapple with RDF and the Semantic Web.

Ever have some subject area that you think that you should be able to understand but can't quite manage despite valiant attempts? You know that it shouldn't be that hard but, for some reason, it eludes you. You end up saying, "But I'm not stupid....ok, well, maybe I am -- not it's the subject that's stupid!." One of the articles referenced by Yee is quite good, exploring how levels of abstraction impact understanding and acceptance of concepts: RDF and other monkey wrenches
