Deep linking and JK Rowling

Larry Campbell asks about linking direct to a 'record' in Open WorldCat. This is possible: check out Pride and prejudice, The commitments, and I capture the castle.

What do these have in common? Well, as I discovered earlier while helping with homework, they are on the bookshelf in JK Rowling's website. US readers may also be interested in the Latin version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone:

Due to territorial copyright restrictions, we cannot sell English language editions to customers in the US, although we can sell the Latin and Welsh editions to our US customers. [Bloomsbury.com - Bookshop]

Thanks, Lorcan. What I'm actually after, though, is a *constructible* (i.e., able to be automated) deep linking URL, using just the ISBN in the construction. Also, it would be useful to provide such a constructible deep link to other screens (whether single record or not) -- such as FirstSearch's "WorldCat Detailed Record" screen. These links look to be stable deep links alright, but I see no way to derive such links from an item's ISBN -- but I may just be missing something!?
