I was also drawn to his trend number five as it is another example of what seems to be a sea-change in thinking, and it echoes one of my major themes here in the past while. 5. You can decreasingly expect people to come to your website for content.We need to find better ways of putting the library in the user environment, and not expect the user always to find his or her way to the library environment. We should integrate library resources with each other not as an end in itself, but only when it better serves the goal of integrating them with user behaviors and workflows. |
