The first open meeting of the LC Working Group on the Future of Bibliographic Control was held yesterday. I am traveling but will post some thoughts in coming days. Karen Coyle was typing very fast and has posted a series of comments.

Why was it held at Google?

It was decided to have three meetings distributed around the country. Dan Clancy, from Google, in on the Working Group and offered a California location.

I understand that the second meeting, in Chicago, will be at ALA.

Lorcan, I was able to blog all except your wrap-up, which is when my battery died. It would be great if you could include your wrap-up in your blog post! I tried to write it down by hand but I think I could use a refresher.
