I have been wearing glasses for thirty years or so. I ordered a new pair yesterday, and when I got home I had a look at all my previous pairs. Here they are:

Nice--great idea for a photo (and post).
Now I really wish I had saved all the glasses I have had over the years. Very cute photo. :)
Nice and orderly, very conservative :-)
Has your head been growing? :-)
For the purposes of proper analysis of the data, what order are they in? Are they getting bigger or smaller over time?
They get bigger because of the angle of the shot - mostly anyway :-)
Mostly what it tells me about you is that you havent thrown any of the old ones away, and they have't fallen apart. You are clearly Mr Neat.
In no way do I wish to sound pejorative; however, my ophthalmologist(s)have always encouraged me to drop off my old eyeglasses at the office to be distributed to those in need. Since I've been wearing eyeglasses for over 50 years, I donated my share. You can find out more about this charitable effort at (http://charityguide.org/volunteer/fifteen/eyeglasses-donation.htm).

It says you've been unusually lucky about not breaking any of them. Wish I had so much luck.
I could never display a full set, having left a pair at the bottom of the Colorado River, in or below Granite Rapid where I flipped my boat (with my Dad on board of all things). No, I did not have a spare pair and besides rowing a boat I was also the trip leader (a private trip with my own permit).
But unbelievably, out of the nine others on the trip, there was one person with a spare pair that was almost exactly my prescription, so I wore his all the way home and then mailed them back. Don't tell me I'm not lucky.
I think what is says is that John Lennon would be wearing glasses like yours if he were still with us. ;-)
