I was looking at the Vufind implementation of the Yale University Library catalog - yufind - and was interested to see that it implements a link to OCLC's xISBN service to pull together other editions of a displayed result. Here is an example where several versions of Krapp's Last Tape are shown in the bottom left section of the display.

That's a standard feature available in standard VuFind (since release 1.0RC2 you don't even need to explicitly turn it on).


Currently there is a whole class of functions to access various WordCat authority data APIs in development for VuFind. If you don't mind looking at source code to get an idea, have a look here.


And you may use VuFind to query WorldCat through the WorldCat search API, too. Search results from WorldCat show up in an addtional tab in the user interface. But I don't know of a VuFind deployment actually using that...
